This cheeky hound is the Yorkshire Food Finder mascot and he’s become something of a character on walking food tours in Malton, the town known as Yorkshire’s food capital. 

 

Otis is a regular companion on the Yorkshire Food Capital walking tour – so much so, he tends to lead the tours round the market town’s food and drink calling points!

 

His favourite stops are at butcher Paul Potts’ Food 2 Remember shop in Talbot Yard – no surprises there! and Brass Castle Brewery where he’s developed a liking for beer.

A working cocker spaniel he joined the Yorkshire Food Finder fold as a pup in 2018 fresh from renowned Yorkshire gundog breeder Jack Peckitt, whose wife Anna runs an award-winning bed and breakfast enterprise at their Carr House Farm at Ampleforth.
